Pipers compete with competitive field at University of Minnesota

Kameron Argiannis (Jr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) placed seventh in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:36.77, breaking her own school record. She was the highest placing Division III runner, as the race was led by five Gophers and an unattached athlete.

Kaitlyn Frenchick (So., Paynesville, Minn.) and Sara Holland (Jr., Dousman, Wis.) placed second and third, respectively, in the 1000-meter run. Frenchick ran a 3:11.66 while Holland was right behind her in 3:11.86.

Margot Branigan (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) placed fourth after a Gopher runner and two unattached athletes in the 3000 meter run, finishing in 10:19.69. The time is the second fastest in the conference this season.

Brenna Coyle (So., Lindstrom, Minn.) placed sixth in a very competitive weight throw field, throwing it 14.83 meters (48-8).

Hamline will next compete on Friday, February 26, at Macalester.
