In the discus throw, Becky Culp (Fy., Lino Lake, Minn.) had an NCAA provisional qualifying throw en route to placing second with a toss of 41.72 meters (136-10).
She also placed fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 43.07 meters (141-3) while Robyn Wernberg (Jr., Brainerd, Minn.) was third in the event with a throw of 43.47 meters (142-7).
Lynn Robohm (So., Rosemount, Minn.) won the high jump as she cleared 1.6 meters (5-3), just two inches short of the NCAA provo mark.
Christina Walker (Fy., Katy, Texas) finished second in the 200-meter dash in 26.24, bettered only by a runner from Minnesota State-Mankato.
In the 1500-meter run, Margot Branigan (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) placed third in 4:39.66, just over a second shy of the NCAA provisional mark.
Kameron Argiannis (Jr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a finish of 1:05.13 – just one one-hundredth of a second off of her own school record time.
