The top three finishers in each event are named All-MIAC while places four through six earn honorable mention status. The top eight finishers score championship points for the team.
Becky Culp (Fy., Lino Lakes, Minn.) finished third in the shot put with a throw of 12.47 meters (40-11). On Friday, she was second in the discus. Robyn Wernberg (Jr., Brainerd, Minn.) placed seventh with a put of 12.16 meters (39-10 ¾).
On the track, for the second time in two days, Margot Branigan (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) put together an All-MIAC performance in a distance race. This time she raced to third in the 5,000-meter run, crossing the line in 17:53.82.
Kameron Argiannis (Jr., Eden Prairie) also put together a top-three finish, placing third in the 400-meter hurdles in 64.64.
Lynn Robohm (So., Rosemount, Minn.) cleared 1.56 meters (5-1 ¾) to place fifth in the high jump.
Lauren Howe (Jr., Siren, Wis.) put together an impressive race in the 3000-meter steeplechase, placing fourth in 11:38.75. Then in the 1500-meter run finals, Jessica Kociscak (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) ran to a fifth-place finish in 4:51.65 and Sara Holland (Jr., Dousman, Wis.) was sixth in 4:54.17.
Holland, Kaitlyn Frenchick (So., Paynesville, Minn.), Rachel Glissman (Sr., Omaha, Neb.), and Kociscak ran just shy of a school record pace to finish fifth in the 3200-meter relay in 9:31.91.
Christina Walker (Fy., Katy, Texas) added a point to the Piper tally with an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter dash finals, crossing the line in 12.75. She then went on to anchor the Hamline 1600-meter relay team that also included Kameron Argiannis (Jr., Eden Prairie), Kaitlyn Frenchick (So., Paynesville, Minn.), and Katie Corey (Fy., South St. Paul, Minn.). They also finished eighth, posting a time of 4:01.73.
The Pipers tallied 70.0 points to finish sixth, finishing just a point back of fifth-place Bethel. St. Thomas won the team championship with 168.0 points.
