Wernberg hits NCAA provo mark as Pipers host Twilight Meet

Wernberg’s provisional toss of 47.13 meters (154-07) placed her fourth in the event. She was the highest-finishing Division III competitor, the top three athletes were from the University of Minnesota and Concordia-St. Paul.

In the discus throw, Becky Culp (Fy., Lino Lakes, Minn.) placed fourth with a toss of 41.57 meters (136-5). Wernberg was fifth at 40.08 meters (131-6).

Starting off the track events, Lauren Howe (Jr., Siren, Wis.) placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:58.80. The top two finishers consisted of an athlete from the University of Minnesota and an unattached athlete.

Carly Braun (Fy., St. Cloud, Minn.) finished fourth in the 100-meter dash in 13.46 while Jessica Kociscak (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) was fifth in the 800-meter run in 2:20.14.

Lynn Robohm (So., Rosemount, Minn.) placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.05.

In the high jump, Katelyn Anderson (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) placed third, clearing 1.45 meters (4-9).
