Christina Walker (Fy., Katy, Texas) opened the meet for the Pipers with a third place finish in the 55-meter dash in 7.64. Kameron Argiannis (Jr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) then also posted a third place finish in the 800-meter run, crossing the line in 2:23.45.
Jessica Kociscak (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) had the first Piper win of the day, crossing the line first in the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:05.57.
Hamline 800 meter relay team then won that event, finishing in 1:49.87.
Margot Branigan (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) placed second in the mile run in 5:23.08 in the final Piper top three on the track.
In the throws, Robyn Wernberg (Jr., Bemidji, Minn.) placed second in the shot put with a toss of 12.26 meters (40-2 3/4). Brenna Coyle (So., Lindstrom, Minn.) was second in the weight throw with a throw of 14.61 meters (47-11 1/4).
In other field events, Katelyn Anderson (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) tied for second in the high jump, clearing 1.52 meters (4-11 3/4).
As a team, the Pipers placed third with 103.0 points. Gustavus won the meet with 176.0 points and Carleton was second with 105.5 points.
The Pipers will next compete at Saturday, February 20, at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open.
