Piper win streak ends with Tommies

Kelsey Eatherton (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) played a pair of close matches, partnering with Nora McGraw (Jr., Hutchinson, Minn.) for a 4-8 loss at first doubles before she lost at first singles by a pair of service breaks, 4-6, 4-6.

Nicole Krier (So., Woodbury, Minn.) played to a third set super-breaker before dropping her match at fourth singles, 6-4, 0-6, 1-10.

Meanwhile at third singles, Kristen Kiemele (Jr., Eagan, Minn.) lost a hard-fought match, 3-6, 3-6.

The Pipers even their overall record at 3-3 and drop to 0-2 in MIAC play. They will next play St. Olaf at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 5.
