Pipers have strong swim at Saint Mary's meet

In the diving events, Ingrid Haugan (Fy., New Brighton, Minn.) placed second off of the one-meter board with a score of 200.75. She was third on the three-meter board with a total of 164.35 points.

Haugan also swam in the 50-meter freestyle, placing second with a time of 30.90.

In the 100-yard freestyle, AJ Capaul (So., Mayer, Minn.) swam to a second place finish in 1:08.07. Angela Lesnak (So., Chisholm, Minn.) was third in the same event in 1:09.92.

Lesnak later swam to a second place finish in the breaststroke in 1:21.46. Capaul was fourth in 1:26.71.

The Pipers next swim at St. Kate's on Saturday, January 22. The diving competition begins at 8:30 a.m. and the swimming events start at 1:00 p.m.
