Pipers score early goal but fall in finale

Immediately after the clock was started, the Pipers took the ball into the offensive zone and attached. As the play crossed from the left side to the center of the box, Hollinger took a pass from Alyssa Koulentis (Fy., Gresham, Ore.) and popped it over the keeper's head for the score. The goal was scored at 35 seconds.

Hamline remained in the lead for the next 49 and a half minutes until Izzy Speer tied the game at 50:03. Emily Bardwell earned the assist.

Bardwell then scored the game-winner herself on an unassisted goal at 66:41.

Hamline was out-shot 13-3 in the contest while Macalester had four corner kicks to none by the Pipers.

The Pipers end the season with a record of 5-13-0, 0-11-0 MIAC while the Scots are now 11-5-2, 6-3-2 MIAC.
