The Blazers had five different players score the six goals in the win.
Saint Benedict's first goal came in the first five minutes as Colleen Bouchard scored at 4:54. She then added assists on the next two goals, the first from Heather Beshears at 21:06.
Her second assist came on the first goal of the second half, a score by Clare Murn at 58:12.
Beshears scored her second of the game at 70:50 on an assist from Leah Christiansen. Kerrie Dingmann had the fifth Blazer goal at 73:17 from Gibbs, while Jess Pellegrene scored the sixth goal at 87:31. Emily Willaert had the assist on the final tally.
The Pipers were out-shot 22-5 in the game.
Hamline's record is now 4-8-0, 0-6-0 MIAC while Saint Benedict is 6-6-0, 3-3-0 MIAC. The Pipers will travel to Moorhead to take on Concordia on Tuesday, October 12, at 4:00 p.m.
