The Pointers scored the first points of the game and controlled the game through the first 20 minutes, building up a 27-point lead at halftime, 55-28. They then started off strong in the second half, going up 66-34 four minutes after the break.
The Pipers' Wilkowski and Steph Robinson (Jr., Sioux City, Iowa) combined to score 12 points over a six-minute span, bringing the Piper deficit to 19, 71-52, at 8:42 in the period.
Stevens Point went on to maintain their lead, as four Pointers scored in double-digits.
Wilkowski tallied seven rebounds with the 26 points. Robinson and Jackie Kelly (Sr., Blaine, Minn.) had 12 points apiece.
Hamline is now 1-1 overall with the non-conference loss while Stevens Point is now 2-0. The Pipers next play on Wednesday, December 1, when they open MIAC play by hosting Carleton at 7:30 p.m.
