Wilkowski (Sr., Savannah, Ga.) tallied 32 points and brought down 16 rebounds while snagging four steals in the game.
The Pipers captured the first lead a minute after the opening tip, and the lead changed hands six times through the first 11 minutes of play.
A made shot by Wilkowski was responsible for four ties or Piper lead changes in that stretch.
Down four, 16-12, at 10:14, Je'Naya Brown (Fy., Lewisville, Texas) hit a pair of free throws to get the Pipers back within two.
Wilkowski then drained a jumper to tied the game, 16-16, and put the Pipers up by two, 18-16, with two free throws at 8:54.
That would represent the final lead change of the game. The Pipers led by nine at the break, 33-24, and the Cardinals did get to within two, 56-54, with four minutes to play.
However, Steph Robinson (Jr., Iowa City, Iowa) put up a layup at 3:30 to put Hamline back up by two baskets. That was followed by five points from Wilkowski and a pair of free throws from Nikki Klinck (Sr., Hibbing, Minn.) to finish off a 9-0 run that gave Hamline an 11-point lead, 65-54, with 79 seconds to play.
Klinck finished with 16 points and seven rebounds. She also dished out four assists. Robinson added five assists to her six points.
The Pipers improve to 9-12, 8-10 MIAC while the Cardinals fall to 10-10, 8-9 MIAC. Hamline returns to Hutton Arena to host Bethel on Wednesday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m.
