The Pipers and Regals played scoreless ball through the first three and a half innings before Cal Lutheran tallied four runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth. Those hits included a solo homerun. 

The hosts then hit a lead-off homerun in the next inning for their fifth run.

Kelsey Tacheny (Jr., Saint Paul, Minn.) had the lone extra-base hit for the Pipers in the game, hitting a lead-off double in the fourth.

Jessalyn Weaver (Sr., Eagan, Minn.) tossed all six innings on the rubber in taking the loss for the Pipers.

Cal Lutheran scored a pair of runs in the first inning, six in the third and four more in the fourth inning for the sweep over the Pipers.

Laura Dombrovski (Fy., Maple Lake, Minn.) started the game and went two and one-thirds innings in taking the loss for Hamline.

The Pipers drop to 4-6 overall while the Regals are 11-15. Hamline plays one more double-header in California as they head to La Sierra on Thursday, April 1.
