Schuette (Fy., Anoka, Minn.), who was the highest finishing Division
III pole vault competitor on Friday night at St. Thomas, cleared 4.40
meters (14-5 ¼) for the second time in 24 hours for an event win.
Ian Campbell (So., Blooming Prairie, Minn.) won the 800-meter run in
1:57.27. Brennan McKeag (So., Lakeville, Minn.) also captured an event
win, taking the shot put with a throw of 14.74 meters (48-4 ½). The
discus winner was Derall King (Jr., Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) at 43.93
meters (144-1).
Also posting a win was Trevor Davis (So., Farmington, Minn.) in the javelin at 51.53 meters (169-0).
Nate Bell (Sr., St. Peter, Minn.) finished third in the shot put with
a toss of 13.96 meters (45-9 ¾). Josh Blaschko (Sr., Lakeville, Minn.)
was fourth with a put of 13.76 meters (45-1 ¾).
In the discus, Blake Springman (Jr., Adrian, Minn.) was third at 41.59 meters (136-5).
Bell finished second to an unattached athlete in the hammer throw with a toss of 50.87 meters (166-10).
Ian Bauer (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) was second in the 5000-meter run in
15:22.59, and he was followed across the line by Nate Walker (Fy.,
River Falls, Wis.) in third in 15:38.50.
Ellis Richardson (So., Roseville, Minn.) placed fifth in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:09.68.
In the open sprint events, Kegan Sunderland (Fy., Blaine, Minn.)
placed fourth in the 100-meter dash in 11.34 while Christian Willman
(Fy., Rosemount, Minn.) took the same spot in the 200-meter dash in
23.20.
Placing second in the 110-meter hurdles was Matt Warhol (Jr., Andover, Minn.) in 16.07.
