The Pipers carried a 2-1 lead after doubles, as their second and third doubles teams posted victories.

Bernard Mitambo (So., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Kyle Helgemoe (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) won at second doubles, 8-2, while Andrew Lutz (So., Pine City, Minn.) and Dan Cromwell (Sr., Forest Lake, Minn.) won an 8-3 third doubles match.

In singles, the Pipers went on to win at the second through fifth spots for the 6-3 match win.

Mitambo took a 6-4, 6-0, win at second singles and Helgemoe won at fourth singles, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2.

Robert Becker (So., Minnetonka, Minn.) won at third singles, 6-3, 7-5, and Sam Teitelbaum (So., Afton, Minn.) was victorious at fifth singles, 5-7, 6-4, 10-8.

The Pipers are now 9-8, 1-7 MIAC. Hamline will travel to Bethel on Wednesday, April 28, for their final match of the season. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
