The Pipers swept the doubles matches, starting with David Croonquist (Fy., North Oaks, Minn.) and Robert Becker (So., Minnetonka, Minn.) at first doubles, 8-6. Bernard Mitambo (So., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Sam Teitelbaum (So., Afton, Minn.) won at second doubles, 8-4, while Andrew Lutz (So., Pine City, Minn.) and Dan Cromwell (Sr., Forest Lake, Minn.) won at third doubles, 8-1.

Croonquist then won at first singles, 6-4, 6-0, to start the singles sweep. Becker won the first set of his second singles match 6-4 before his opponent retired.

Mitambo won at third singles, 6-3, 6-2. Kyle Helgemoe (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) won at fourth singles, 6-1, 6-2 and Lutz won at fifth singles, 6-2, 6-3.

Teitelbaum won his sixth singles match, 6-0, 6-1, to finish out the sweep.

The Pipers improves to 3-1 overall. They play at Bethany Lutheran on Saturday, February 27, at noon. The match will be played at Owatonna Tennis Center.
