Bernard Mitambo (So., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Andrew Lutz (So., Pine City, Minn.) provided the toughest match for the Gusties at second doubles, losing 4-8.

Mitambo went on to lose by just a service break in each set, 4-6, 4-6, at third singles.

David Croonquist (Fy., North Oaks, Minn.) dropped his first set by a service break, 4-6, before falling 1-6 in the second set at first singles. Robert Becker (So., Minnetonka, Minn.) reversed those scores, losing at second singles, 1-6, 4-6.

The Pipers are now 4-2, 0-2 MIAC. They will host St. Thomas on Saturday, February 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville.
