The Tommies scored three goals within 16 minutes to take a first-half
lead. Nick Rapisarda (Fy., Green Bay, Wis.) had a pair of goals 30
seconds apart, scoring at 21:00 and 21:30. Josh Pozner (So., Roseville,
Minn.) had the assist on the first score while Elliot Amundson (Sr.,
Minneapolis, Minn.) had the assist on the second.
Angel Riera (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn.) then tallied the third St.
Thomas goal at 37:43. Adam Wieckert (So., St. Louis Park, Minn.) was
credited with the assist.
Hamline's goal came at 55:11 in the second half as Wone scored on a pass from Stephen Johnson (Fy., Apple Valley, Minn.).
The Tommies out-shot the Pipers 16-14 in the game and had 12 corner kicks to the Pipers' five.
Hamline is now 5-5-0, 1-3-0 MIAC and St. Thomas is 6-4-1, 2-1-1 MIAC
after the conference contest. The Pipers will remain at home for the
fifth straight game, hosting UW-Superior on Wednesday, October 6, at
4:00 p.m.
