Piper men drop one-goal game at Saint John's

At 11:39, Joe Laue took a pass from Michael Coborn and scored what would ultimately be the only goal of the game.

The one-goal margin of victory showed how close the teams played. They each had 18 shots while Saint John's had four corner kicks to Hamline's five.

Zach Nelson (Jr., Eagan, Minn.) made six saves in goal while the Johnnie keeper made seven.

The Pipers are now 5-7-0, 1-4-0 MIAC. The Johnnies are 3-4-3, 2-2-2 MIAC. Hamline remains on the road to play at Concordia on Wednesday, October 13, at 4:00 p.m.
