Wes Elfman (Sr., Madison, Wis.) tallied a pair of goals at 5:13 and 6:48 to start the Knights' scoring. Tim Wills (Jr., Portland, Ore.) then scored at 15:51 and 17:45. Elfman added an assist to his day on Wills' second goal.

The Knights outshot the Pipers 14-to-6 in the match, although the Pipers had seven corner kicks to the Knights' five.
