Wes Elfman (Sr., Madison, Wis.) tallied a pair of goals at 5:13 and
6:48 to start the Knights' scoring. Tim Wills (Jr., Portland, Ore.) then
scored at 15:51 and 17:45. Elfman added an assist to his day on Wills'
second goal.
The Knights outshot the Pipers 14-to-6 in the match, although the Pipers had seven corner kicks to the Knights' five.
Hamline is now 4-4-0, 1-2-0 MIAC while Carleton is 4-2-1, 3-0-1 MIAC.
The Pipers will play a non-conference contest against Simpson on
Tuesday, September 28, at 4:00 p.m.
