During those three games, Arrigoni totaled seven points from four goals and three assists.
On January 1, Arrigoni had a pair of goals in a 4-1 win over then #9-ranked MSOE.
In Friday's 4-1 win over UW-Superior, Arrigoni tallied a trio of
points. He had an assist on the opening even-strength goal, an assist on
the power play goal in the third that put the Pipers up 3-1, and scored
Hamline's fourth goal on a power play with under three minutes to play.
In Saturday's 3-3 tie, Arrigoni had the single assist on the opening
Piper goal of the game. He then scored on a power play to tie the game,
2-2, in the second period.
Arrigoni has a team-leading 17 points and also leads the Pipers in goals with nine.
Arrigoni's honor marks the second time this season that a Piper has
been named the MIAC men's hockey athlete of the week. On November 22,
defenseman Tim Olson received the honor.
The Pipers, ranked #11 in the latest USCHO.com national poll released
today, return to MIAC play against Bethel University this weekend. They
play at Bethel on Friday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m.
