The sweep of the team and individual conference titles by Hamline was the first since the 1975 championship.
Hamline repeated as conference champions by placing three runners in
the top five, six in the top 20, and their top seven in the top 23. The
top 15 runners at the championship are All-MIAC.
The Pipers ran away with the title with 31 points. St. Olaf finished
second with 79 points, Saint John’s was third with 96, St. Thomas
finished fourth with 141 and Bethel rounded out the top five at 145.
