Kreitlow entered the second game against Saint Mary's in the fifth inning with runners on first and second, two outs, and a 4-4 score.

He struck out the next Cardinal batter and went on to shutout Saint Mary’s over the next six innings, striking out two more batters (for a total of three) in earning the win in the 11-inning game.

Kreitlow scattered five hits, all of them singles, to help the Pipers to an essential MIAC sweep of Saint Mary's.
