King led the Pipers to a 3-2 week in which they went 3-1 in MIAC, sweeping Macalester 4-3 and 7-3 before splitting with Carleton (W, 7-2, L, 9-2). (The Pipers' non-conference loss came to the Division I University of Minnesota at the Metrodome.)

He hit .600 overall for the week and .667 in the four MIAC games. Against MIAC opponents, King went 8-for-12 at the plate and hit a double and a homerun while tallying six RBI and scoring three runs.

He was perfect in the outfield and recorded five putouts. His slugging percentage in conference play last week was 1.000 and his on-base percentage was .615 against MIAC opponents.

Hamline's record is now 9-16, 3-3 MIAC. The Pipers travel to Gustavus for a 2:30 p.m. double-header on Tuesday, April 13, as they continue conference play.
