Gustavus scored the lone goal of the opening period of play in Saint
Paul at 14:58 as Kayla Ingbretson (So., Mound, Minn.) scored from Lisa
Tuuri (Fy., Woodbury, Minn.).
The Gusties out-shot the Pipers 10-4 in the opening period.
In the second period, Jackie Brigl (So., Roseville, Minn.) evened up
the score as she charged down the slot at the goal at 14:22. Billye
Nelson (Jr., Warroad, Minn.) was credited with the assist.
Gustavus took back the one-goal lead at 6:01 in the third, scoring
one second after a Piper penalty expired. Amanda Cartony (Fy.,
Stillwater, Minn.) scored the goal off of an assist from Lindsey Hjelm
(So., North Oaks, Minn.).
The Gusties out-shot the Pipers 24-to-1 in the third period, and 58-to-8 in the game.
Hamline falls to 4-13-3, 3-9-2 MIAC while Gustavus improves to
14-3-3, 10-2-2 MIAC. Hamline will host Concordia on Friday, February 18,
at 7:00 p.m.
