The Cobbers then scored twice in the third period, an even strength goal at 5:43 and a short-handed tally at 9:39.

The Pipers out-shot the Cobbers 32-23 in the game.

The Pipers' record is now 13-6-5, 8-3-4 MIAC while the Cobbers are 11-9-4, 7-4-4 MIAC. The same two teams will play again tomorrow, Saturday, February 19, in Moorhead at 2:00 p.m.
