Van Gilder had three goals, including a short-handed score and the
game-winner, in the Pipers' 7-4 victory on Saturday at Concordia.
The win put the Pipers are 22 points for the season and gave Hamline sole possession of the 2010-11 MIAC regular season title.
Hamline last won the conference championship during the 2007-08 season.
The Pipers are the #1 seed in the tournament. They host either the #4
(Gustavus Adolphus) or #5 (Augsburg) seed on Saturday, February 26, at
2:00 p.m. at the Warner Coliseum.
