Hamline University welcomes the public to celebrate the
legacy of gospel music in the Black community at the 21st annual Gospel Night
inspirational worship service, “Thank You Lord for Everything You’ve Done for
Me.”
The event takes place on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 6 p.m. in
Sundin Music Hall, located at 1531 Hewitt Avenue, on Hamline University’s Saint
Paul campus.
For the event, Jamar Esaw and Triad:4Christ will be the
special guests with additional performances from the Hamline University Gospel
Choir, Javonta Patton and Deliverance for Youth, and the New Salem Missionary
Baptist Church Choir.
The keynote speaker for this event will be Billy
Steele, member of the highly accomplished and celebrated Minnesota-based musical
group, The Steeles.
Hosted by PRIDE Black Student Alliance, this event is
free and open to the general public, but attendees may contribute to a free-will
offering to support a local non-profit charity organization. For more
