Description: On Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., The Women's Resource Center is hosting a screening of "The Invisible War," a ground-breaking documentary that investigates the epidemic of rape and sexual assault within the US Armed Forces, the institutions that perpetuate and cover-up its existence, and its profound personal and social consequences. A moderated discussion panel (with opportunities to ask questions and discuss the film) will follow the screening. Members of the Hamline community and delegates from local organizations Women Against Military Madness (WAMM) and Women Veterans Initiative (WVI) will be participating in the panel following the film. Free food and beverages will be provided. Join in for a conversation about gender, sexual violence, and militarism. The showing will take place in Drew Science 118A.
