Description: On Thursday April 24th, the Hamline Francophone Club will be holding its first event this semester. 'Creole Night' is a fun opportunity for anyone who loves languages to learn about how creoles form, and learn a few words in Haitian Creole, which combines French and languages of West Africa. Professor Martinson of the Linguistics department at Hamline will be explaining how creoles form. Ruben Joanem, from the University of Minnesota will also be speaking, teaching a few words and phrases in Haitian Creole. The event will begin at 7:00 pm, and will be held in Anderson room 112.
