11:20 AM - 12:40 PM
This session, facilitated by Caroline Hilk (CTL), will provide an overview of how to facilitate a rubric norming session. Rubric norming is an important step to ensure that you and your colleagues will achieve consensus when scoring/assessing student work with an agreed-upon rubric. This training will be particularly useful for those individuals who are likely to facilitate a norming session with an existing assessment rubric in the near future. After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
Describe the rubric norming process
Identify appropriate artifacts and necessary materials to host an effective norming session
Lead colleagues through a rubric norming session with an existing rubric.
Please RSVP to the CTL (firstname.lastname@example.org) to ensure that we have adequate space for this workshop.
