All faculty are invited to participate in one of the planning lunches hosted by Faculty Multicultural and Diversity Initiatives. Studies have recently emerged that suggest that segregation patterns in housing are rising and income may not be the only factor to explain that. Perhaps, for our purposes, it will be good to consider what that means for preparing students with relevant cultural competencies, so that they can participate in a globalized world of work. Clearly, that begs the question: how do we prepare ourselves pedagogically to address aspects of diversity as we move forward? What would we like to or want to know more about to prepare our students?
