Brief Description: This CTL-sponsored session will take up the
Hamline Plan "T," the writing-intensive learning experience that
students are required to have each year after their first. We will begin
our discussion of the "T" with a brief overview of the 5 W's of who,
what, when, where, and why and then take up the H of it with discussion about
how one applies for a "T" and how (and why) faculty
members might want to incorporate "T" learning experiences in
their courses. While the session is intended as a "how-to" and
"why-for" for new faculty, we also hope experienced
"T"-teachers will join the conversation as an opportunity for
refreshing the understanding of the role and delivery of the "T"
and as contributors to the learning team, which is, finally, a return to
the loopy title. Lunchers welcome. No RSVP necessary.
