Hamline's Business Law Association is hosting a panel event titled, "Corporate Crime, Financial Fraud & Failures of Corporate Ethics," on March 20.

Guest speakers include:
Joan Humes, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in Litigation and Investigation at Medtronic
Joan Humes currently provides strategic direction, leadership, and advice on complex litigation matters and government investigations for Medtronic’s Legal Department, reporting to the General Counsel.

William Michael Jr., Partner at Dorsey & Whitney
William Michael Jr. is a Co-Chair of the White Collar Crime and Civil Fraud practice group. He is an experienced trial attorney with more than 100 jury trials in state and federal courts focusing on complex federal white collar and regulatory defense, civil and criminal health care fraud, anti-trust and complex internal investigations. He represents both individuals and corporations.

Christopher W. Madel, Partner at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, L.L.P.
Christopher W. Madel is a part of several practice groups including: Corporate governance and special situations, government and internal investigations, business litigation, and antitrust and trade regulation. He is also a member of the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. Executive Board. Madel is regularly sought after to represent corporations and individuals in their most sensitive, serious, and grave matters and he has led numerous high-profile internal investigations of corporations and other entities relating to myriad alleged violations of state and federal law.
