    • TechSelect provides equipment that is leased by a monthly fee
    • TechSelect relies on a decentralized budget and a flexible operating spending model where departments make decisions about the technology they use.  
    • Everyone will be able to rely on the same efficient process for all acquisitions

    Ben Phillip, director of technical support services, was a member of two panel sessions at GusDay, an annual information technology conference for Minnesota higher education institutions.

    Hamline University Information Technology Services has moved to a new schedule and process for updating Java on Hamline computers.

    Oracle will release an update to their Java software platform on Tuesday, January 20 and anybody using Hamline computers will likely be prompted to install it. Please do not install the update when prompted with that option.
