TechSelect is a new end user technology acquisition and lifecycle management system at Hamline. Getting the Right Technology Into the Right Hands in the Right Way.

    • TechSelect is based on three main ideas: expanded choices, a leasing model and a decentralized budget.
    • TechSelect offers a menu of technology options as well as a consultation process with ITS whereby the right technology is selected and acquired by and for a department or individual.
    • TechSelect provides equipment that is leased by a monthly fee
    • TechSelect relies on a decentralized budget and a flexible operating spending model where departments make decisions about the technology they use.
    • Everyone will be able to rely on the same efficient process for all acquisitions

Hamline University is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret Tungseth as senior vice president for business, finance and technology.

Hamline ITS will be taking down our systems for summer maintenance from 10pm Saturday, July 19th until 12pm (noon) Sunday, July 20th. During this time, all systems will be unavailable, including the Internet to and from campus, the wireless network, the "S" and "I" drives, Banner and printing. Google will be unavailable from on-campus, but it will still be available from off-campus.

The Hamline University website is now easier to navigate and read regardless of whether visitors use a smartphone, tablet, iMac, PC, or laptop to access it.

Two new phishing emails are showing up in the Google inboxes of many Hamline users.  The subject line of one of them is "From IRS Taxslayer Form 1040 {Action Required}" and the subject line of the other is "Re-Validate Your School Mail Box." Please DO NOT RESPOND to these emails or click on the "click here" link they contain!
