• Equipment Available for Checkout at the Help Desk

    The ITS Help Desk has several types of equipment available for checkout to the Hamline community.

    Policies for Checking Out Equipment:

     

    • Equipment can only be checked out to faculty, staff and students of Hamline.
    • Laptops can only be checked out to faculty and staff. 
    • Equipment can be put on hold for you for 24 hours. 
    • There is a limit of one item per customer. No checking out of multiple items without special permission from the Help Desk supervisor. 
    • Length of equipment checkout is 5 days but is subject to change due to demand. (For example, during finals, checkout may be decreased to 3 days.) 
    • If equipment is late, the Help Desk will attempt to contact you and tell you to return the equipment ASAP. 
    • If equipment goes unreturned for 30 days, steps will be taken to bill the borrower for the cost to replace the equipment

  • Tech News

    Problem resolved. ITS will be upgrading the wireless authentication system on Thursday 27 Aug to resolve any remaining issue. The upgrade will start at 1:00pm and will take about 2 hours, during which you may need to re-authenticate (login again). Any outage will be minimal.

    All faculty and instructional staff are cordially invited to Fall Faculty Development Day on Wednesday, September 2 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. followed by the President's Welcome Reception. The deadline to register is Thursday, August 27 by 5 p.m.

    Hamline's Blackboard Learn is scheduled to be upgraded on Saturday, August 22 from 7 pm to 7 am the following dayBlackboard Learn will be unavailable during this scheduled time period.
