I teach these students by offering age-appropriate projects to open the world of possibilities art brings. I strive to present art as limitless: an end to which hard work, resourcefulness, and dedication is the only means. I have also tried to teach concepts and techniques in a modern sensibility. For example, to emphasis the importance of line and communication in a piece, graffiti was used. I hope to inspire the students to think of art as an attainable industry and possible career path.
