• Technology Support

Information Technology Services' main goal is to support Hamline University with technology related initiatives, resources and needs.

Technology support involves all the aspects of the technology that keep Hamline running. This means the infrastructure, tools, and resources behind the operations, from troubleshooting of hardware and software problems to the support of teaching and learning systems.

ITS supports the Hamline community with services like the Service Desk, Knowledge Base, training for staff and faculty, media services and equipment, and telephone services.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is introducing the Self-Help Resources Site, a gathering of how-tos, user guides, and video tutorials, available to the Hamline community (Google login required). ITS has improved its website by creating two new pages:  New to Hamline is a campus technology guide for guests and new members of the community, and Services lists all the services ITS offers.

In 2015, Hamline created a steering committee to select an enterprise content management (ECM) system. After identifying several potential vendors with the help of many university departments, the steering committee is excited to announce that DocFinity was selected as the vendor.

Hamline CIO Mark Kondrak was one of three CIOs invited to contribute to a panel discussion at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2016, a preeminent gathering of more than 10,000 CIOs and Senior IT Executives from across the globe.
