To start composing an email, click on the Compose Mail link in your Mail screen

Enter your recipient's email address in the To: field.

You can also add the CC: or the BCC: fields if sending to multiple recipients or want to hide the recipients' address.

TIP: Take advantage of the auto-complete feature as it will provide possible recipients based on your Contacts List as well as people that you have recently emailed.

Enter a subject for your message in the Subject: field (this is not really mandatory, but it is a good practice)

Click on the white field below Subject: to begin typing your message.

You can change the formatting, font, and color of your message text using the tools located above the compose window. You can also use Emoticons to enhance your message, and create a personal signature to identify yourself.

When finished, click the Send button either below the message box or above the To: field. A confirmation message will show up at the top of your screen.

You can also save your messages and come back to them later by clicking on the Save Now button next to Send. The saved messages can be found in the Drafts label.
