| Sesquicentennial
Commencement, May 22, 2004 |
 |
The commencement
of the sesquicentennial classes of Hamline University was
memorable for many reasons – the historic setting
of Old Main Mall, recalling the 150 years of students who
have come before; the accomplishments and discoveries of
the nearly 1,000 new graduates; and the rain that first
threatened, then poured, on the assembled families and friends.
Clothing may have been dampened, but not spirits, as the
law, graduate, and undergraduate students crossed the stage
to receive their diplomas on May 22, 2004.
