A letter from Gala Chair Teri Popp

Hamline University is 150 years old! This is such an incredible milestone—especially when the State of Minnesota is less than 150 years old itself! A sesquicentennial event of this magnitude invites us to join together as alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of our educational institution and celebrate this major, and wonderful, occurrence in the life of our university.

We plan to hold a celebration worthy of our many constituencies. And we need your support—so, we invite you to attend!

Any proceeds raised by this event will benefit special scholarship funds for students in Hamline's College of Liberal Arts, School of Law, Graduate School of Public Administration and Management, Graduate School of Education and the Graduate Liberal Studies Program

Our theme, "Looking Back, Thinking Forward," seeks to honor and celebrate Hamline's illustrious past while looking forward to a bright and shining future. Our goal is to demonstrate and highlight the cumulative contributions of 150 years of Hamline university students, faculty and staff to Minnesota, the nation and the world. And we asking you to help join us in doing this. So please join us as we celebrate Hamline's 150th birthday!
