This highly original work of theatre by George C. Wolfe is conceived as a fiercely comic examination of African American history and culture. Wolfe ingeniously reappropriates demeaning stereotypes, and in doing so redefines black American identity through eleven satirical, often confrontational, "museum exhibits." Directed by Carolyn Levy.

 March 9 : School of Law Vocation and Leadership Speaker Series: Kurt L. Schmoke
  Kurt L. Schmoke, dean of the Howard University School of Law, will  continue the series' exploration of the potential for lawyers to serve as leaders and have a positive impact on society. Schmoke is the former Mayor of Baltimore City and former State's Attorney in Baltimore. Dean Schmoke's civic and professional leadership exemplify the qualities being celebrated by the Vocation and Leadership series.
