Learn more about “Africa: A Legacy in Memory,” the special festival that will be held at Hamline this spring from Anika Carlsted '00, a member of the festival staff and assistant curator and registrar for the exhibition.

This special pan-African exhibition, Material Differences, curated by the Museum for African Art in New York, will explore Africa's artistic and cultural heritage and honor the contributions of the continent of Africa in the humanities and the arts.

The keynote address will be given by Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., director of the W.E.B. DuBois Institute for African and African American Research at Harvard University.

  The Hamline community is invited to gather for a biweekly lunch for networking and conversation as part of the Theological Exploration of Vocation Program. Each program will feature a faculty, staff, or student giving a personal perspective on vocation.
