Talking to Bob '52 and Sandy Klas about the new Klas Center, you can feel the excitement.

They remember the energy at Hamline as it neared its centennial celebration fifty years ago. They lived in Quonset huts behind Hutton Arena with others destined to become lifelong friends. They remember Professors Williamson and Sanders, Robert Holliday, Coach Hutton. They remember the feeling that Hamline was on top of its game - in athletics, in the arts, and in academics - and the feeling that the future held exciting possibilities. And it did.

Bob and Sandy remember that feeling, and they want today's students to feel the same.
